About

EatingPlaces, the blog

EatingPlaces records inspiration from dining out, creating and photographing meals, and exploring culture through food. I focus primarily on Greater Boston, but will also include favorite eats from my travels.

Liz, the writer

I lived in Upstate New York through high school and then moved to Western Massachusetts where I studied Sociology, Fine Art, and Dance at a liberal arts college. In 2010 I moved to Boston and served in AmeriCorps for a year coordinating a nonprofit youth mentoring program. I’m currently working in nonprofit development in Cambridge.

I’m passionate about travel, art, meeting people, and, of course, trying every food I can.

For daily updates, the best way to stay connected is to follow me on Twitter @EatingPlaces.

  4. Hi Liz,
I love the site. I will be voting every day!

  5. I am obsessed with you! I love the new Saturday shorts- you are incredibly articulate. It is not easy to make someone want to “click through” or learn more in a whole blog post, let alone a few sentences. Keen eye (mouth?), my friend!

  6. Just wanted to say “hello” :) It was great meeting you today!
