Blogging for the Boston Local Food Festival

14 Aug

The 3rd Annual Boston Local Food Festival is set for October 7. It will be held on the Rose Kennedy Greenway and will feature over 150 vendors, including chef demonstrations, activities for all ages, and a variety of $5 locally-grown eats.

This year I’m blogging for the event alongside 19 other writers, including Tara Bellucci from Boston Food Swap, Taryn Collins from {Sweetly} Serendipity, Foodista on Pointe‘s Rachel Cossar, Jen Dorman from Boston Bachelorette, A Girl & Her Mutt‘s Erin Morgan, Erica from Boston Rookie, and Kerrie Urban from Urban Foodie Finds. My first article is about Blue Hills Brewery for the Local Craft Brewfest on October 5. Last summer I had a great chat with Peter Augis and wrote about the brewery in my Indian Ranch Brewfest post, so it was nice to reconnect with them and learn more about the company. It should be published soon, so stay tuned to learn about a great local business with some delicious brews.

As we get closer to October I’ll also have a few more assignments – I’m excited to hear what they are!

The Boston Local Food Festival is put on by the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Boston (SBN).
